Vaginal infections and anaemia
in gynaecology and obstetrics
The CME Course “VAGINAL INFECTIONS AND ANAEMIA IN GYNAECOLOGY AND OBSTETRICS” came to a close a few days ago and took place at the new Minerva Auditorium of S&R Farmaceutici.
The congress was an opportunity for modern scientific training and direct debate with qualified Italian Gynaecology professionals, an important occasion for meeting and exchanging experiences for participants on two topics encountered on a daily basis in clinical practice: vaginal infections and anaemias.
In the field of gynaecology aspects pertaining to new and old trends in vaginal infections must be addressed in-depth, with particular interest in Candida Albicans and Bacterial Vaginosis. In this context, the analysis of vaginal ecosystem well-being and its relationship with intestinal microbiota was a fundamental step.
The event also focused on new approaches for the clinical consequences associated with anaemia, a problem that has a qualitative impact on the health of women in all age groups, making the provision of suitable treatment instruments and solutions necessary in order to guarantee correct management.
